Presidents AM AM

The President’s AmAm is an annual event held in aid of charity, and it took place at Wollaton Park on 10th July

. The competition was very close with one point separating the top 4 teams. The winners, on 124 points (best 3 from 4), were the team of Stef Elliott, Fran Elliott, Loretta Sheppard and Kay England from The Nottinghamshire. In 2nd place, losing out on the back 9, were Dale Brown, Phil Anstey, Daniel Anderson and Richard Price from Rushcliffe.

County President Colin Bee was delighted to report that over £3,000 has been raised for this year’ s Charity, Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. As always, the course was in excellent condition and a credit to Martin Scothern and his team. Colin thanked the members of Wollaton Park for giving up the course for a great cause. and the staff for their friendly assistance in making the day run smoothly.
